Mississippi voters would like lawmakers and state leaders to safeguard public education dollars in the face of a massive state budget shortfall that may amount to as much as $800 million this fiscal year. Voters also recommend considering raising income taxes on the wealthiest Mississippians and repealing corporate tax cuts enacted in recent legislative sessions to help raise additional state revenue.

A nationwide TEXT-IT Poll ® by Chism Strategies revealed that Democratic primary voters across the country rank ideological balance ahead of gender diversity (43% - 23%) when asked about the best way to balance the ticket. However, when offered a list of potential Vice-Presidential candidates to choose from, the top four choices were women.
Yesterday we launched our TEXT-IT Exit Poll in Super Tuesday states. We interviewed 585 Democratic primary voters with a 10 question survey across four different time zones and produced an accurately weighed report with a 4.05% Margin of Error less than 24 hours from the start of surveys to the completion of the report.
