She worked in communications at Fair Fight Action and has campaign experience with Carolyn Bourdeaux’s congressional campaign. Her work focuses globally on human rights, gender, and racial inequity.

Urooj lives in Suwanee, Georgia and spends her time volunteering with local refugee communities. She enjoys  literature and art, and is taking pottery classes in her free time.
