Joe has won multiple awards from the Public Relations Society of America, Campaigns & Elections Magazine, Politics Magazine and the American Association of Political Consultants. In his capacity as a political consultant, Joe has helped elect over two dozen members of the Georgia legislature, almost half of the Atlanta City Council, the Chairs of the Fulton and Cobb County Commissions and various metro Atlanta area mayors and school board members. Joe was the Southeastern Director for the largest grassroots campaign ever conducted in the United States.
He has extensive experience in issue advocacy at the state and federal level. His past non-partisan clients include The Pew Charitable Trusts, Protect Our Care, The Nature Conservancy, the National Indian Gaming Association, Federal Home Loan Bank, the Farm Credit Council and other patient and environmental advocacy groups.
Joe studied political science at Davidson College, Cambridge University and Georgetown University. When he isn’t campaigning, he is playing drums in various Atlanta bands and trying to impress his five-year-old daughter, Josie, son Grayson and wife, Melissa Mullinax.
